The story of a man who fled East-Germany in 1961 and had to cross the East/West-Germanborder in order to visit family and friends.

Yeah I agree, I had to wait about 6 hours to get in to Poland and to be totally honest I couldn't wait to get out of it either.

A two to three hour wait at the border was quite quick although in Marienborn they were a bit quicker than for example at the Polish - German border.

A two hour wait was indeed very quick but this was only the case when evything went very smootly. Normally, with all the checkings, it would take much longer.
