Hi Cara, I was alone in the world with the PTC as well and was lying down watching this last year and this came up on my Tv.......my name is Cara as well...it was really weird to watch someone with the same thing, when I haven't met a single person in the world with this either and thought I was 1 of 100 people that only had it.....it was good to know I wasn't crazy :)
i just watched your episode and i too was diagnosed with ptc 6/2008. i am still on meds but doing better. They told me i had a tumor and scared the crap out of me. I still have yet to find a doctor i am comfortable with.
Cara, I just watched you on an episode of Mystery Diagnosis. I to was diagnosed with Psuedo Tumor Ceribri in 2003, I was also told I could possibly have a brain tumor by an Opthomologist, I can relate to your pain! I was told I was not to have children and would have to take meds forever. I have two children and I am completely off of my meds.
You sound like you live a very fun life, that's awesome! Pirate costume sounds killer! I minor'ed in Art History actually at University, I loved EVERY moment of it and wish it had been my major :)
Hi Cara, you're such a nice girl, your poem sounds so wonderful, I am glad that you've left your depression behind you and that you have friends and family by your side, please stay strong ... I hope maybe someday a miracle will occure :))
