Darkest Hour: Europe '44-'45 is a western front modification for Red Orchestra. It focuses on the Allied invasion from the Normandy campaign in 1944, through the failed Operation Market Garden in Holland and beyond the Battle of the Bulge.It covers not only the intense infantry battles the campaign is so well known for, but also includes the epic large scale tank battles that took place in the later stages of the war.

why the fuck did they remove omaha that would have been the highlight of this mod I think carentan is the best map rite now and even so its not that special

Because it wasn't up to scratch. We only have a couple of mappers and a lot of work is required to get them up to a Steam quality standard. Omaha will make a comeback, but it's just not ready and won't be for a while yet.

We don't have any official guide, but if you drop by our forums there are numerous threads regarding server setup. They do a better job at explaining it than I could.

Too late for me! After realizing not too much has changed with the damned bugs in this mod , I'm finally giving up on this and will sell RO as well - overall it has disappointed me and I'm sick of this disgusting graphics! Even BF 1942 which is from 2002 has better graphics than this and is more fun to play - sry guys I'm out! But all a question of taste and just my opinion...

@lyth1um Yeah surethang. No way I agree - it looked OK for me and the time and I still like it today and Onlinegaming was and still is epic and so much fun. Nowadays though I recommend u guys to have a look on ArmA 2 Mods (Invasion 1944, Fields of War Normandy) and the upcoming game "Iron Front" - and then tell me what you say about that... And I have sold RO long time ago and it had disappointed me overall and that is my opinion and nothing more or less... ;-)

Battlefield is better than this game. Why waste time playing a game with poor gameplay and graphics? There are so many higher quality games out there that people actually put money into, not some "mod".

First of all you can't sell RO since its tied with steam so nice try. Secondly this game has way better graphics than bf1942, its also a way better and more complex game based on realism and authenticity, but i figured you're a call of duty kid/noob with no life so i guess it means nothing.
