How popular can he be when this guy was a shoe-in for re-election in the senate only to lose because of his stupidity? If this guy hadn't shown his racist attitudes, McCain would be endorsing allen right now for president.

McCain also worked with Larry Craig I doubt he's going to ask Lewd Larry to campaign for him.

he worked with allen on a number of legislations, Allen currently works for the RNC I believe so it's basically his job to campaign for him. Plus even though he got voted out he's apparently still relatively popular in Virginia
