It seems stupid to split the kitchen, set everything up to judge the abilities of the finalists, and then let the bloody ignorant apes of the general public decide. What do they know? Why make it possible for Marco to judge fairly, then choose the least fair method of deciding?

That's the big problem with HK UK in my opinion: they dump the expert just as it's getting important, and let the lumpen public decide. It's all a way of making money off of text messages, of course.
