  • @brownybear06 - a poet friend says, "You should only use the word 'awesome' when talking about God or orgasms." Well.... anyway, I do appreciate the comment. I've got more of that masterclass, I've just been lazy about getting it online. One funny thing that happens during solos is: I tend to drift back and forth between this song and Autumn Leaves. Such a dork sometimes, but they are so similar. check back for more of that session.

  • @claryscat - thanks for the comments. That piano makes swinging so much easier! Todd's a great tenor player too, so it's really just opening up to having fun at this point. I do dig Victor Young's music too - so cool with the minor ii-V's (as in "Stella"). What are your fav's?
