Panorama Electrical Elevator - Doors (Part 1)

In this project, there are two kinds of doors: car door and landing doors. Car door stay with the car when it moves, and the landing doors positioned on each floor. In general, there are two types of doors due to the shape of doors movement: Center opening doors and side opening doors. The type of doors designed for the car and landing doors in this project is the center opening doors. Center opening doors mechanism depends on opening and closing two panels in opposite direction according to two guide rails - in this project - up and down. Each panel of the door was made of stainless steel. There is one difference between landing doors and car door design in this project, that is the car door are taller than the landing doors, this difference occurs because of the rack and pinion mechanism fixed on car door. Two wheels were fixed on each panel of the doors, those two wheels are suitable for the upper guide rail.
