This song really gets to me because I have several gay and bisexual friends, and I myself am bisexual. I don't know how I could live if my friends took their lives. And while I may consider myself quite conservative, I fully support gay rights. One day, what's seen as "gay marriage" will just be "marriage" like with straight couples.

@1LIFEtoWIN I was freaked out. Even more distirbing is that they're real young men who committed suicide. I was looking at a 2010 article with the names of several of those who died, and a few are mentioned in the song.

I see this song as bullying gays, and when they said the names in this song, I felt my heart race when they said: "Seth Walsh, age 13" because I'm 13, and I have a guy friend who is bisexual and 13.

Adam's Song by Blink-182 is another song about teen suicide. Extremely depressing at first, but it has a happy ending.
