COMMON ERROR THNX DUALCOREX

There have been a few errors while using Winpwn which are very common. here are (hopefully) fixes for those issues

1. "The application failed to initalize properly (0xc0000135)"

Fix: You need to download the Microsoft .NET Framework

2. Error -6 in itunes

This occurs when you are trying to install a custom firmware through iTunes while your ipod is in Restore mode

Fix:In order to install a custom firmware you must be in DFU mode
1)Plug in your ipod and open iTunes
2)Turn on the ipod
3)Hold down the power and home button for 7 seconds
4)Let go of the power button 3 seconds after the screen shuts off
5)Continue holding down the home button until you hear the beep on your computer and iTunes popup says your ipod must be restored

3. Error 1601,2,3,4

This happens when you are trying to install a custom firmware through itunes while your ipod is in partial DFU mode.

Fix#1: You need to put your ipod into true DFU mode
1)Plug in your ipod and open iTunes
2)Turn on the ipod
3)Hold down the power and home button for 7 seconds
4)Let go of the power button 3 seconds after the screen shuts off
5)Continue holding down the home button until you hear the beep on your computer and iTunes popup says your ipod must be restored

Fix #2: If Fix #1 doesnt work try this method
1) Download 2.0 Firmware (iPod1,1_2.0_5A347_Restore)
2) Download and Install WinPwn (2.0.0.3)
3) Create the Custom IPSW File
4) Reboot Computer
5) Restore using Standard 2.0 Firmware
6) Then Restore again using custom firmware you created with WinPwn

4. Error: iPwner crashes

Fix #1: After created the ipsw...
1)Close iTunes
2)Hit iPwner---( A popup should appear saying itunes is being pwned)
3)Hit ok on the popup
4)Open iTunes
5)Hit iPwner---( A popup should appear saying Itunes has been pwned)

Fix#2:
1) Put ipod in DFU mode
2)Open iTunes
3)Hit iPwner

5. Error: Failed to Build ipsw

Fix#1: Use a different computer
Fix#2: Close all related itunes programs and try again
Fix#3: Uninstall all related Winpwn files and delete the folder in /Appdata/Roaming. Then reinstall it

As of right now there is no 'official' fix for this problem. Some people on other forums claim these methods help. i have been searching for 20 min on various forums and cant seem to find a solution. If i see it i will post it up
