It's obvious Carolina is a "Golpista" and that she is connected to the wealthy elite, right wing government or military. The Heritage Foundations is a right wing organization that favors limiting immigration of latinos to the United States and deporting some (including many Hondurans) who already live in the United States.

Elections carried out by regimes that initiate coups can't be considered Democratic. These elections are similar to Putin's (Russian "Democratic" elections) antics. The oligarchs control the media, commerce and government institutions in Honduras which creates a huge disparity in wealth between a tiny minority of the population that controls the country's resources and the majority of the population that has very few resources.

They've had quite a bit of success in suppressing it, but today was Honduras' day to speak loud and clear by their participation in the Constitutional democratic processes of their sovereign republic.
