Actually the marshall plan was about 12,4 billion Dollars and Germany has refunded EVERY SINGLE CENT. Moreover USA didn't do this selflessly. This fairy tale about the victors built up Germany always makes me laugh. Actually it were the Germans themselves and no one else.

You support US troops in Germany? Lol, are you afraid that Switzerland or Austria would attack you? It is unlikely that Germany becomes a dictatorship or a threat to the free world... The cold war is over too... Germany does not have any troops in the US, but the US has rockets, nuclear weapons and armies in Germany. Why?
Germany does not seem to be a partner, but a slave of US-empire (that is financed by US taxpayers money)

I want USA out of my country and Europe. And i´m pretty sure americans will eventually push for the same. Is their money, NOT ours. Europe will have to increase defense budget as our birth rates continue to decrease, our population is older and our Welfare public systems will become unsustainable. The end of American Empire means the end of 60-70 years of living at the expense of others.

to Pvtjamesryan2: you are right, Germany was weak and a pile of rubble at the time. Now, it is a modern first-world country and has the strongest economy in Europe.
