Play SFC Games on your SNES (Simple Mod)

Just wanted to show a really simple way to play super famicom games on a US super nintendo. Really easy mod for those who like the Japanese games but don't have a SFC.

A Game Genie can also be used, and it's tabs are a heck of a lot quicker to remove, just clip the tabs and you are ready to play imports without butchering the SNES in the end.

The differences in the carts is only if ye live in the US, in Europe we have the same size as in Japan :P

nope super famicom games were faster than EU pal snes i had one as a kid and playing street fighter 2 at my friend's place was always a pain in the the ass cos it was clearly slower. and it's true for other games.

The european snes looks mostly like the super famicom. ^^

@RanMatFri It's mostly the luck of the draw. The main cause of yellowing is the release of bromine from the flame retardants in the plastic. Some consoles just have more of this stuff than others. The good news is that you can actually reverse the yellowing process by using a mixture of hydrogen peroxide and oxiclean. Do a google search for retr0bright. The formula is free, and there are a lot of awesome before and after pics.
