@11nephilim Atheism is simply not believing in God, nothing more nothing less don't group Atheism with science, its annoying. Also it takes no faith to be an Atheist since it is based on proof and evidence or lack thereof. That's all I was saying.
@MAZ1N00 I have confidence/trust in the scientists who are looking for answers right now and I believe that eventually they will have all the answers - probably not until long after I'm dead. But I don't have proof that scientists will solve everything. They could all turn out to be wrong. So by the dictionary's definition, yes, I have faith in science.
1. confidence or trust in a person or thing: faith in another's ability.
2.belief that is not based on proof: He had faith that the hypothesis would be substantiated by fact.
That is the definition of faith.Atheists don't claim to know the answers, they don't claim to know that science will answer everything. Atheism is simply not believing in God because of lack of evidence. That is not what faith is based on every definition of faith in the English language.
@11nephilim well what l ame trying to say is we al have our faiths and we belive in them to gued us the right path but as a muslim god tels me to leart as much as l can of this world but never try to find him
@11nephilim atheism is really just another kind of faith, because you have to have faith that science will find answers to everything eventually. Where it differs from religious faith is in its willingness to adjust itself when new evidence becomes available. A creationist still believes a 2000 yr old story, despite the fact that a wealth of things have been proven or disproven in those 2000 years.
@exelenet1 humans are mammals. The word mammal comes from the word mammaries; all mammals are classified by the fact that they produce milk. The reason we are biologically similar to creatures like chimps or even cows or pigs (our heart is pretty much the same as a cow's, only smaller) is because we come from similar ancestry. I'm not religious, and I also don't have an explanation for everything; but I do believe that an explanation for everything exists even if I don't know it.
@11nephilim and btw l know when it comes to biologi we humans and a mammal resebel each other alot the reson i cus we live in the same condisions if you know what l mean, what l was trying to say is the way we think and that we know evry thing had to come in existens one way or eynother . keep up the posting nephilim l like discusing thig like this and btw l ame a musilm and the reson l belive in god is l can not explaine were every thing comes from like for exapel dos space have an end .
@11nephilim well when it comes to natural disasters l wuld have to be talking to you in person or els it wuld en up turing pages but to mak it short , to god we belong and to god we will go if l lost my family in a disaster(may god never test me with that ) l wuld be angry at god and say why but at the end of the day they will be in a better plays in my belif and l love my family and knowin they ar with god in peac and tranqulity wuld make me happy and it wuld make my death much more peacfull
@exelenet1 People don't HATE god, any more than we hate Voldemort, hate Vishnu, or the big bad wolf. He's fictional. We do, however, hate those who condone child rape, genocide, etc in their imaginary friend's name. Also those who believe they're absolved of responsibility due to their imaginary friend's blood sacrifice. "why is ther nothing in this world that resembels us" Would you say a chimp resembles a gorilla? Well we resemble chimps more than gorillas resemble chimps. Enough said.
