Seven Tibetan Buddhist monks from Ganden Jangtse monastery traveled from Mundgod, South India to the United States. They are creating sand mandalas, sharing their culture, and promoting world peace on their tour. They have been in the US since for July 2011 and have been to California, Arizona, and Colorado before coming to Northborough, MA. Soon they will stay will return to the area to stay at the Veterans' Home in Shrewsbury, MA (December 11-18th). This video shows them constructing The Medicine Buddha mandala at The Unitarian Universalist Church, Northborough, MA November 15-18th. The mandala was dismantled in a formal ceremony on November 20th.

  • We were blessed with the presence of the Monks while they were in Southern California. They came to Land of Enlightened Wisdom where they created a mandala - it was one of the greatest experiences of my life.
