Steam: Thomas the Tank races Spencer (Bittern 60019)

Engine 60019 Bittern is Spencer and Thomas is an obscure unknown tank engine.

Frankly Bittern looks more like Frank Spencer than Spencer the Engine.

Filmed at Ropley station on the Mid Hants Railway (MHR) during "Thomas the Tank" week.

The MHR line is sometimes called The Hampshire Alps and also the Watercress Line.

Thomas is a tank engine who lives at a big station on the Island of Sodor. He's a cheeky little engine with six small wheels, a short stumpy funnel, a short stumpy boiler and a short stumpy dome. He was created by the Rev. W. V. Awdry.
