We descended down through the green water and it wasnt long before the first manta ray (Manta birostris) emerged from the gloom.
Nearly 75% of mantas along this coast show evidence of at least one shark bite, usually on the trailing edge of a wing. They come to these cleaning stations to have parasites removed by willing cleaner wrasse.
I scuba alot and I would love to swim with these animals, slow and graceful

@mcgaugh57 none of them had bites, and they live in areas where whites don't go. and whites don't attack them.

One of those Rays had a huge bite out of it's tail area. Must have been a Great White.
