  • @raidacaipo i can guarantee ill learn this if he made an accurate tab.........dont you love the ability of quick learning?

  • can you give me any tips on arpeggio? im getting the hang of it..but i wanna be able to hit each string clean...sometimes ill bump into another string with my nails

  • @raneyxam Yes man ! Tu aurais une tablature ou une grille d'accord ? Ou tu as déchiffré ca a l'oreille comme un diable ?? En tous cas felicitation

  • @raidacaipo Meh I don't know why I got so worked up about that comment- was late and I was grouchy. You've got a point- most people who play from tab just can't be bothered to learn about the music behind them. I just know that that's true for a lot of classical guitarists too :p

  • @raidacaipo for example the first chord is Dmaj7add11. He plays four notes from the chord (D F# C# and e). A tab tell you that (x5465x) a chord just tells you it could be any of the notes D F# A C# and E in any order

  • @raidacaipo true, but it can help the process of learning by ear greatly if you see where the notes fall on the neck

  • @raidacaipo I don't really play for tabs, but anything that can be written in sheet music can be written in tab- if anything tabs allow you to write more detail than sheet music. You try writing out little wing in sheet music some time. Tabs are a good aid to help learn something by ear- I don't use them that much and you need to be a good musician as well as a good guitarist to play something like this, but there's nothing wrong with playing from tab...

  • @Muzikman127 I feel people who want a tab for something like this is insulting the skill of the guitar player. They feel that anyone can play this as long as you guide their fingers individually with "tabs". Though I use tabs for simple songs, a song like this cannot be tabbed and its not easily learned...

  • @Muzikman127 Your talking about chords.. Theres a difference between chords and tabs... chords are formed with ease because you know the pattern. You say its a C chord and the person knows what that is. Now a tab is learned because you look at numbers and place your fingers. It takes more time to learn by tab because its like someone telling you where to place your fingers everytime.

  • @raidacaipo don't underestimate the competence of jazz fingerpickers please. Just because we're not used to playing from sheet music doesn't mean we can't play this kind of thing. It's one skill to fingerpick well, another to know which position to play in when all the score says is the note.
