I feel so sorry for the former AIG CEO Hank Greenberg. After the financial crisis his fortune was worth only 100 million dollars.

  • And 9 11 was brought to you by.....

I'm sure Hammerin Hank can make up for it through the poppy fields over in Afghanistan.

  • That way, these billionaires could enjoy their taxpayer funded "Welfare For The Rich" bailout plan (which George Bush and Barney Frank - both corrupt, set up for them), over their morning coffee while reading the Wall Street Journal and Rush Limbaugh's web site., and they won't be too distressed over their temporary losses. We certainly do not want billionaires to be stressed out do we?

  • I have a BETTER BAILOUT plan to would save US taxpayers BILLIONS. Instead of funneling money to billionaires via greedily run wall street corporations via AIG via the us treasury via our corrupt lawmakers, why not write checks & deliver suitcases of money directly to (former) wall street billionaires & multi millionaires? It would save BILLIONS in distribution & Middle Mancosts. We could save more by hiring paper boys instead of Fedex to deliver money on paper routes in the Hamptons & Ct.

  • Cry me a river.

  • Lets all take up a collection for this poor billionaire. If every American mailed CNBC 3 dollars and fifty cents, CNBC could give the money to this poor man, and he can be a billionaire once more. Is three dollars and fifty cents too much to ask?

Or if you cant afford it in these hard times, maybe you might have a gently used Armani suit that you can no longer fit into? Please help a (former) billionaire today!

  • Thats the problem with these rich controlling money grubbing bastards. They want to control everything. He kept his stock because he wanted to still have some control over AIG. Money to these kinds of people is not what they crave its power. And control, and influence. He was so drunk with power, that he was willing to blow his wealth. Now he claims he is a poor millionaire. Its disgusting. Its not the middle class taxpayers fault this guy was too stupid to sell.

  • Make no mistake, this guy is begging on national TV for his two billion dollars back. It's embarrassing. He needs to face facts and not be stupid. It's all gone. He should take out his (worthless) 100 million and be done with it before that's gone too when Obama dismantles AIG over the next few years and the stock becomes totally worthless. And he would be lucky to get that much, at this point. He was stupid to not sell years ago.

  • What I can't believe is that the same AIG jerks that contributed to the financial crash are the same AIG dicks who are now getting tax payer funded bonuses.

  • So normal American families are forced out of their homes and onto the street and this guy has a 100 million dollars in the bank.

Guess what YOU CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU.
