This video is sorely short on details. Why can't they make it work for 30 years? How do they make it work now? What are the drawbacks? What are the challenges to overcome? How come it doesn't continue to be self sustaining? It sounds like an advert for fusion instead of an informational video.

These guys aren't American. They are a part of the Joint European Torus project, which is in Oxford, UK. They are speaking British English (where the language was invented) and to you it might sound wrong, but it is pronounced correctly by these scientists.
