@hindusoldier4life There are contradiction in hinduism as it is pluralistic , there is no compulsion to follow particular path to worship god to reach god ! As it is inclusive religion it respects every thought thats why there are contradictions ! But Hinduism is best life style to follow to live in harmony with nature and others !

Opon researching it is clear to me that no voice recording was made of Swami Vivikananda and the voice here is of a certain N Vishwanathan. The story of how this came about is given in a wikipedia article.

Yes, true. It is not a religion like others. We say Sarve jana sukhino bhavantu (let all hamanity live happily), and Loka samasta sukhino bhavantu (let the entire world live happily). There may be differences of opinion. For eg, a Brahmin group in North India worships Ravana, while others worship Ram! So what, as the Master says in the video, nothing here is heresy!!

Hinduism is Nothing but Trying to Know GOD. JESUS CHRIST. HImself came to earth to solve their Problems. in vedas it is written God should shed blood for the remission of sins of the mankind. No one in hindu gods are qualified for this Only Jesus Christ is Qualified Be-coz He Shed Blood for the sins of the world on Cross and buried and rose again from the death Mruthyunjaynamaha.. By Meditaing and chanting his name we will be liberated Or Salvation(moksa). Vedas clealry Describe Jesus Christ.

so eventually you guys will have no god anymore because you are "changing" to the times and the world IS becoming more secular so you will change to it?
thank God that our God never changes. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He will always be here for us.

It is amazing that he knew as much in those days. Hinduism seems to be now devolving with the advent of Shiv sena and Co and decaying into just another religion like Islam or Chistianity.
There are no contradictions in hinduism. It is the most pure religion and the the most gracious

There actually aren't any contradictions due to the timelessness of the philosophy in Hinduism. There is only misinterpretation. Hinduism is a changing religion/philosophy that adapts to the changing times. Since lifestyles change throughout time, religion must change to account for this and the development of the inner-self (which is the root solution to all problems).
Thus contradictions aren't apparent as great saints have been adding to the religion (Upanisads) to reinterpret the Vedas.
