  • WRONG!!! You never want to approach cross court. you need to approach down the line so your on the same side.. Again stop posting information you haven't studied...

When you approach cross court you have no side covered, but when you approach down the line you have the down the line and most of cross court covered...

  • @Bunny926 there is no wrong--if i have a great crosscourt approach, but i miss all my down the lines... don't i say there are only three times you hit down the line? approach, pass, and when they're off the court. where do i say approach cross only? but to be fair, i'm starting to like the crosscourt approach

  • I dun understand the letters and random lines at all.

  • @ryanrenesis letter are for zones, you hit to a if you're in a... the lines are your options

  • wow! the Bermuda triangle...

  • the only time I aproach the net is when my opponent hits very short shots... otherwise... the net is something I try to avoid. I hit a lot of long top-spin shots... trying to keep my oponnent from getting the oportunity to hit short shots. I think the safest way to win a point is by trying to get your opponent out of the court using very strong top-spins.... going to the net has a lot of flaws(getting passed, getting lobed, not enough reaction time, hitting the net from low shots etc)

  • there's like natural spin on the forehand because you go across your body, all forehands tend to go left.

  • play tournaments--if you're in the US, there is a NTRP system. if you're in europe, they use ITF rating, it's a test. if you're in asia, you're out of luck, it's mostly by age.

  • how would you put spin on it so that it would curl away? isn't it supposed to be a topspin forehand, how would you impart sidespin on the ball so that it would move into the alley
