I'm 21, caught this from my baby cousin whom in only 5 days recovered. It's been about 10 days and thankfully the worst of it is over( i.e. the painful swallowing, the terrible fever, vomiting as a result of my loss of appetite) but I still suffer from the sore mouth and a hacking cough associated with phlegm. I'm just waiting for this nightmare to be over.

@paintballchristian the sores can take weeks to to go away. If you are without fever you can and should be in school.

i have it rightnow, and i cant drink, or eat or drink my throat hurts really bad. is there any thing that helps?

Got this virus swimming in our nieghbors pool me and my 2 kids have it ages 3 and 6 both girls, i have strep throat, but my kids dont they tested negative, gargling salt helps alot, tylenol and for me antibiotic, but my kids having trouble eating, drinking, hydrate hydrate hydrate holy crap hydrate, and yeah my kids are handling it better than i do.
