Making Open the Door - Vlog Three (Home Improvement)

Hey guys. Welcome back.
:o)
I'm now 14 months in and starting to realize the enormity of what I've let myself in for. This vlog is about set and prop design. As with the first vlog, I just sat with a microphone and waffled on for ages before cutting it down later to this leaner incarnation... so if the audio is a bit choppy I apologize.

I hope you enjoy this glimpse behind the curtain and thank you for being so patient.

Wow!! I can't wait to see more on this project! The details are incredible! I'll have to hang out over here more to learn a thing or two about animation and story telling! I want to learn how to animate after seeing what TheraminTrees did with our collab and what you are doing here! I like the idea of me never having to be on camera again...hahaha!

@GreatGig1 Thanks so much. It's a lot of work but it's so satisfying when you create something from nothing. I like the control (and the not being on camera) it offers. I love that it lets me handle how everything looks and moves... for better or worse... I guess I'm a bit of a control freak creatively. This project is years off from completion but it's been great layering it all up so far. It all may fail miserably, we shall see.

@EarlIam Cheers man. Glad you enjoy the peek behind the curtain - hopefully there'll be more... So much going on right now, OTD has to take a back seat. I'll be posting a new song/vid soonish though. Keep feeding those thoughts.

Yeah thanks for Bingo - it came on DVD with a Maya manual I got years ago as an example of what the program can do. It's a great piece of work aint it? Have a great week.
