If you want to go to San Marcos de Tarrazu, keep driving ( do not turn right ) You will start to see coffee farms and after 4 km, you will hit the paved highway Near Napoles de Tarrazu. In case you want to visit the ALTO QUEPOS FOREST RESERVE, just turn right and 500 meters up the mountain you will the the sign at the entrance. Also called the Chilamate crossroad, this intersection represents the end of the most difficult part of the road from Quepos to the Tarrazu coffee highlands. It is also the most scenic and rugged and the most popular among bikers and ATV drivers
