From the video itself, you can see I've removed the Roomba Vacuum System Assembly (Hacked). What's left is the motion mechanism. I've cut out two pieces of wood and wrap around with the Electrostatic Wiper which can be obtain cheaply from the local supply store. I placed the wiper under the Roomba and let it move around the house to pick up any dirt's and hairs. The last screens show the collected dusts and hairs. I am planning to attach it with the Damp Wiper Cloth so that it can simulate mopping the floor around the house. In shorts, I have a DIY "Scooba" at home. Enjoy......

  • I was wondering can you actually make an electrostatic vacuum? If it had a power supply is there a way to keep a plate continuously electrostatic strong enough that it picks up just like a standard vacuum?

  • Hi. This is a good idea. Worth to explore further. Thanks. Cheers.
