  • Superb footage - we live in Aberdeen so hopefully we' 'll be up soon- it would be wonderful to see a sea eagle. if he moves on before we get there we'll just have to take that long promised trip to Mull.

  • Thanks for that - glad you liked it! I believe 'Ralf', as they call this particular bird, is wandering about Aberdeenshire now, but still occasionally visiting Loch of Strathbeg. Can recommend Mull for sure - had two trips there last summer, several sightings, and some more good video footage.

  • Aww wow fantastic video there. Its great to see Ralf again. I worked at the Loch of Strathbeg over the summer and I loved the place. I saw this bird almost every day and he never failed to amaze me. Thanks so much for uploading this.

  • Glad you liked it! I put more extensive footage on a DVD for the Reserve, so if you're up there again you may be able to have a look at that. David was perhaps going to use it in the visitor centre.

  • Oh brilliant! I live a long way away from the centre unfortunately but I do plan on visiting again so I will keep an eye out for it.
