R.J.Rhythm Entertainments at The Tamar In Crown Hill, Plymouth New Years Eve 2011

This is our 9th New Years Eve for R.J.Rhythm Entertainments to be entertaining at the Tamar in Crown Hill Plymouth and I knew it was going to be another night to remember as Christmas Eve was another one of our best ever but as I said on Christmas Eves Journal this may be our last one here at The Tamar due to the powers that be at head office, but after talking to Emma the Manageress she agrees that she can not see them stopping entertainment over the Christmas Period so hopefully we will probably be back for next year. Tonight with me were Annette and Darren from St. Austell and we all knew from past experience that tonight was going to be yes I say it again another night to remember and we have all been looking forward to this one since Christmas Eve.




We set off from our offices at about 5.30 pm and arrived at The Tamar at about 6.30pm.This time it was not up to us to move the tables and chairs after trying to get people off them of course and set up the area for our show, but I got the staff to do it as we had a lot of things to do and also get ready as it was also a fancy dress. It took us about an hour and a half to get totally set up for the evening which was no so bad as Darren has never set one of our biggest shows up before and we all worked so hard in setting up and making sure everything was ready for me to start at 8.30. and once again as you can see from the pictures they all had a great time throughout the evening. We had people dancing all night long from 8.30pm and some of the people in fancy dress looked spectacular as ever. The requests were coming in all night and again we had everything we were asked to play as you know we have one of the biggest collections of songs than most other companies. There was a great atmosphere all night long and everyone was in a great party mood. Midnight came and the whole pub was up dancing and cheering and the atmosphere was quite electrifying and exciting. We finished around quarter past one but I must admit this Party could have gone on all night long. We packed away within a hour which was not bad going as we were all really feeling the strain of our Christmas runs. Darren who was our driver for the evening then took us all back to our office before going home himself. Well a New Year has now started and this will now be our 10th year at The Tamar if we can persuade head office they need entertainment, so until my next Journal I would just like to say Happy New Year to all my readers.

Well back to Mango's for the Bank Holidays and then back to normal for me so until my next Journal one again Happy New Year.
