He honestly looks like a scared little boy to me. Every time he gets asked a question he just rambles off some nonsensical answer or just spits out gibberish so that somebody talking to him can't get to know him. He just seems like he's afraid to admit something about himself to himself so he developed this abnormal reflex to deal with the subsequent awkwardness that came when he tried to interact socially.
