I wrote this song at the ripe old age of 12 & found the lyrics for it recently. Although the songwriter in me "current day" gasped at the thought of singing it in front of anyone without a complete & total rewrite, something else inside me was charmed by the innocence & simplicity of a song I'd written long before I ever considered myself a songwriter. Plus it reminded me of a girl I'd never met, but wanted so badly to sing this to. :) So I decided it would be fun to work this up for my friends at youtube! I went ahead & added a piano solo, some new musical touches & changed a couple lyrics but pretty much left the tune the way I wrote it back then. This was a ton of work, but a ton of fun at the same time. Hope you all enjoy & merry Christmas to ya!

ps. Also dedicated to my Mom who loved anything I performed that resembled a polka. :)
