From the album "Rock Steady: Greatest Hits" from 1968.
Lynn Taitt was the man given the most credit for a single persons part of the change in musical style - from ska to rocksteady in 1966. Taitt was a member of The Skatalites and when the band broke up in 1966 he worked as a guitarist and arranger, and ended up as a permanent part of Duke Rieds studios. Lynn Taitt and his group The Jets had hits with other producers than Duke Ried (Joe Gibbs, Derrick Harriot, Bunny Lee), but it was at Treasure Isle he did his most-loved work. He was a big part of making the Duke the undisputed King of Rocksteady.
