What a doofus. We created our government to protect our liberty and our borders and nothing more. It worked for many years, but the gradual increase in government power and intervention into our business and personal lives has created most of the problems we have today.

Noted economist Thomas Sowell writes: "But government creates no wealth. Ignoring that plain and simple fact enables politicians to claim to be able to do all sorts of miraculous things that they cannot do in fact. "
This Oregon State Rep. is completely wrong. Large government has to convince you it is a vital part of society to justify it's existence.
