I've never played Dark Souls, but this looks quite cool.
Though I'm not quite sure what's going on, I think I get it:
You get to build a fortress and people can choose to invade it, and you built yours very narrow so they fall off all the time.

@TheSeventiethSeven hahahaha, no, not quite, but almost. i'm standing in a level that has a very narrow walkway while one of my friends hides off to the side, using a massive bow that shoots spears (every time you're hit with one, it sends you flying.)
I bait people who invade my game to attack me on the narrow walkway, and without them realizing it, my friend shoots them from the side with the huge bow, sending them flying down to their deaths.

@KKobra Oh, lol, that's quite smart.
So people can invade your Singleplayer game, or you have to enable it for them to do it?

you have to enable it by being 'human' which allows you to summon help and be invaded at any point in time. the singleplayer and multiplayer are combined into one seamless experience in this game.
