  • it's funny...when I was younger I had a big client that was a telescope and binocular company and I would get all this great stuff for free....wish I had've taken advantage of it. But that's a beautiful pick..I want to get back into astronomy when the kid gets older...this desert night sky is beautiful...

  • I completely agree. I love pretty much all of the sciences - astronomy being one of my favorites. I could sit outside all night exploring the skies. It's so incredibly beautiful and fascinating to me.

Why wait until the kids are older? Go buy a telescope and a book on astronomy and inspire the little ones right now! Who knows, they may grow up to be the next Carl Sagan or Stephen Hawking. If you teach them while they're young to be curious, they may surprise you with what they come up with. =)

  • thank you for sharing. I truly appreciated it.

  • No problem. Glad you took the time to watch. =)

  • Yeah, that is REALLY cool! Thanks for posting. I have never seen the moon that magnified (well, except in pictures, lol). Great video!

  • Thanks! I wish the footage would have showed up better on the camera. It was ten times more mesmerizing in person. =)

  • only thing is little ms. carl sagan knocked over a 1700 refractor at work when she was 8...so I want to keep the lil boy away from the expensive equipment....lol

  • My telescope is fairly new, but I also love watching the skies. I'm really into the sciences and astronomy is one of my passions. I was also taking video footage of Jupiter while I was out last night. Got to see three of its moons. So incredibly fascinating!

  • No problem! Thanks for watching!

  • Thanks for doing this.
