@bartos8888 That's one reason I like to play on consoles. I don't have to worry if the game will actually play when i get home and i can play in 1080p with the highest detail. If you can afford all those updates and you're willing to do it that's fine but i can't.

I love on xbox 360 because I haven't got graphic card problem :D

You sure made those guys mad

@TheJohnandrea I'm aware of that. I think my comment is just saying that most games i play on my pc won't look as good on my pc as they do on my consoles unless i shell out x amount of dollars for a better graphics card which i don't have. So weather it's sub HD or not it still looks better on my console then it does on my pc. Although this game plays maxed out on my pc.

@TheUnbiasedGamer Actually, consoles dont play at real 1080p. Most games are sub hd. So on consoles its sometimes real hd, and some games the hd is upscaled.

@TheUnbiasedGamer All I'm saying is that the game is not being portrayed in 1080p. My monitor is 1080p but if I set a game's resolution to something lower, like 720p, it still stretches to fit my 1080p even though it's not actually IN 1080p. All you would need to enjoy Oblivion to its maximum graphical capabilities on xbox is a TV that can go to at least 600p. And believe me, there is a huge difference between a non-1080p game on a 1080p display and an 1080p game on a 1080p screen

@AbsoluteZ3R0 They are being upscaled to 1080p but the resolution that it is on the tv is 1920x1080 whether it's upscaled or not. There are 1920 pixels going horizontally and 1080 pixels going vertically. That resolution is called 1080p even if the native resolution of the game is not such and it still looks a lot better that way. I'm aware the PC is native HD but i won't cry over it. It's still a fun game whether it's in native 1080p or not.

@TheUnbiasedGamer You might have a 1080p TV but your games are not being displayed at that resolution - they are just being blown up at their existent resolutions to fit your tv. If the Xbox were actually forced to display 1080p games like Oblivion would run at like 10-15 fps which would be unplayable because 1080p is 2.25x larger than 720p. I get your point, but I'm just saying. The consoles nowadays are nearly a generation behind PC's max capabilities
-
@AbsoluteZ3R0 Yes i'm aware but 1080p is a resolution which it is displaying on my tv and it still looks awesome. I have this game on my PC as well and it runs maxed out but most games won't unless i spend about $500. on a great card. Most games on my PC look worse then they do on my consoles.. All the money is not worth a few extra details to me but if you have a passion for it then by all means go ahead and do it.

@TheUnbiasedGamer You do realize that practically no console games run at 1080p right? Oblivion's resolution on the Xbox 360 is a measly 600p, which isn't even HD. Also, Oblivion has more detail on the PC. Highest detail on consoles? Skyrim on consoles is equivalent to lowish/medium settings on the PC. Also, most people don't have any trouble playing their games on PC
thats one goofy looking axe
