What a load of shit. There is no "rawness" rock has lost during this decade. Rock has always been both pretty and rebellious beginning with the beatles. His rant is nonsensical at best and remember one of his lyrics claimed he NEVER liked rock since he was a shit child.The real story is he stole a verse from Kashmir on one of his songs then Led Zeppelin sued his ass he lost the court case for a fortune and reacted like the baby dick he is.

Haha, this guy should hear some Deicide. I understand what he's saying though, and I really do get his point. What happened is, they notice there's some money to be made here, so the label themselves goes out and finds people to form bands that have no soul. And your genre becomes so saturated with that, that the good stuff is practically hidden.
Hell they've done it to everything forever. Punk, Rock, Metal, Rap, you name it.
