God equals love but God is a holy God and to be Holy he has to be Just. Homosexuality is a sin, and sinners will face their day. Christ died for the sins of the world, then he suffered the punishment for sin in hell for 3 days before rising. If one dies without christ, they are saying No Jesus Thank you for what you did, but i can pay for my sins myself.

Don't forget: Ruth and Naomi. The Greek word (Dabaq) used to describe Ruth's relationship with Naomi was also used in the Bible. To describe a man's relationship with his wife.

Not to mention, some of their words to each other are used nowadays in weddings.

So words used in marriage ceremonies were first spoken woman to woman?

I could also give an example of where Jesus supports a homosexual couple-even holding them up as an example. Just ask.

It sickens me that anyone who has studied the Bible in English, and has drawn the conclusion that homosexuality is an abomination, would listen to the 12 points made in this video and not immediately resolve to do some research. It does not take my breath away to instead see people of faith quickly doubling-down on condemning gay people.

I had heard some of the claims, but not the supposed mistranslations in the English from the Greek and Hebrew to justify the condemnation of homosexuality.

@MrXgraveX, its you who is wrong here, judging others is classified a sin aswell. Its not your work to judge or condemn others who do not follow the same path as you do. God is a God of love and not hate. He loves all his children equally. But im not even going to waste energy in arguing about this, as its pointless to open the eyes of people who CHOOSE not to see. If homosexuality is SO BAD, then GOD would have prevented that gene from the beginning!!!!

The interpetation centers around the Hebrew word for "know" or yada. One of it's definitions means to be intimate, yes. But it has TEN others. Yep a SINGLE multitermed word is being exploited to condemn an entire segment of the population.

Wasn't Leviticus written as a set of rules for the Levites? No other group in the Bible was restricted from shaving or cutting their hair. The stories of Sodom and Gomorrah never directly stated that the cities were destroyed because of homosexuals, this was all due to interpretation. All New Testament passages were "God inspired" or "God-breathed," which could also mean that they were based on the Old Testament. Jesus loved everyone and did not judge, regardless of their sexual orientation.

The bible thumper who believes in what is written is their choice. If people want to believe in the King James version (note it says version in the title) as well as use it as a tool to judge the entire world then they need to do some research on King James himself. HE WAS GAY! That's right, he was a flaming homosexual. The same King James who has his own "version" on the hebrew writings and in this "version" go on and ON about men lying with men being an abomination. Makes you wonder.
