  • This is FANTASTIC! The songs mash together with musical sensibility and progression. The videos mash together with serendipitous transparency , and the sentiments compliment each other... The Male's perspective with a lack of control/ consent with the strong Feminine perspective "Do you want to?" reminding him that indulging in this passion is a choice... not a death sentence. The message is there - Bravo!

  • @Jtronique "The videos mash together with serendipitous transparency". It's interesting you say this because it was the fact that the two videos looked very similar aesthetically that I decided to create the video mix. It was as if they were created for that purpose in regards to the intention of the universal spirit. Thanks for your comment. Best one yet.

  • this is absolutely horrid! does ian and will even know their song has been massacred? where's those greedy fuckers at wmg?

play a fucking instrument and create something yourself ffs.

  • Ha Ha. The person who created this mix is very good friends with Ian actually. Ian loves both the audio mix and my video. So yes he approves of it's cheekyness. As far as playing an instrument. I am a performing bassist and have been so for 15 years. So why don't you get a sense of humor.

  • Oh FFS do not mix EPIC post punk Echo & the Bunnymen with some stupid sweden disco!!!

  • Oh for Christ sakes... Where is your sense of humor and adventure. I hate disco but will say that this mix works. It's so tongue and cheek.

Not everything has to be serious. From a production perspective this mix is really good.

  • Have the audio in disc, was wondering if there was video mix for it, awesome job whoever did it! Two thumbs way up, great holiday family fun entertainment!

  • This is simply one of the best mashups on youtube. Haunting mix. New wave and disco are kindred spirits.

  • Got to agree with Stingfan 200% After the Ep I bought at the time with 4 songs on and a subsequent cringe worthy appearance on TOTP wher the Mucker lets his vest slip over his shoulder as if it was not laughable but provocative. And still as years rolled by he never learned with the sun specs welded to his face. Not surprised. Arch Asshole Autoegocrat.. Long live irreverance. XXX

  • echo is better , but is very funny mix

  • love both bands, two different directions, and this is fun , peace

  • If Ian likes it then there`s no beef then? (admittedly I was a bit dumbfounded at first and then it made me laugh ... Have you ever heard a song that sounded dark AND cheesy?)

  • i love this.

  • This is great! Really interesting.. Some of these comments on here do make me laugh - 'shock', 'horror', 'respect' - what ARE they on about? I presume it's some of the Echo/B fans who see their faves as gods or something... and untouchable.. Do me a favour - BOTH are great...both bands are superb musicians and have great singers. What's the big deal? Having seen both these bands live..both were great... as a musician we tried looking at some of those Abba chords/songs..very

    VERY difficult..
