Background information: The childvoice is me! (lol) and the man-voice is my stepfather Peter, who passed away more than 10 years ago.
Ofcourse, the little kid is me too ;)


I wish I were a child again
No pain or jealousy
I wish I was that child again
Totally reckless and carefree

The love of my life was Michael J. Fox
At least he couldn't break my heart
I could play all day with a cardboard box
My paintings were considered art

I wish I were a child again
The world was fun and small
I wish I was that child again
Allowed to cry when I would fall

When I was young I didn't care
My life was simple that way
All firsts - nothing to compare
Just living by the day

I wish I were a child again
I never noticed someone's pain
I wish I was that child again
I only saw sun - never the rain
