The frontend software is called MaLa. The leds in the buttons are controlled and power by a PCB called an Led-Wiz. You can find loads of info on this sort of stuff and how to build your own cab over at the, Build Your Own Aracde Controls forum

Just a bog standard command line mame installation and the front end is called MaLa
