Track 13, Willing Well II: From Fear Through the Eyes of Madness

What is this that I feel and what is this that I fear?
In these arms that whored out amongst the worms
That mate in these fields
From pressure to pain I wish to stay awake
In the measure I test with your love for me
Shot against these walls
With hope that one will break fear
So hear me...

What is this that you keep selling me, boy?
I'm not gonna hold your hand here when you walk
You'll burn in hell while they're digging you out

So picture this face and burn it to flake
To shelter it at home at the fireplace
And all but memory will fade
With the flick of the flame
So I have a secret that no one should know
But I should tell
But of all the... but of all the worlds
This one won't feel...
This one just won't leave me well

In the press of your back
Do you feel the shore swell?
Oh boy, I'm eating my way back home

As father told son in the make of his final escape
Should all good boys die with God at their side,
At the grace of his gates?
No, the Robot holds none with the mind
And a heart to comply
Then I will disguise and grieve of those dead
When I'm given the time

Run little rabbit...
Go hide in the blades of that grass...
Run rabbit run

Should capture be our earnest fault?
Breathe up through lust and I'll find your cure
In there I'll kill... in there I'll kill

With your last breath of air
As the Earth comes trembling down
Would you give her this last night
And give up your life
With your last breath of air
As the Earth comes trembling down
Would you give her this last night
The love of your life

No one runs faster than you can
No one runs faster than you
No one runs faster than you eat
To the end with you... to the end with you

  • This has to be the most underrated band of all time.

  • @dtorres21013 Coheed & Cambria=3rd greatest musicians in the world. Pink Floyd=Greatest musicians in the world. Coheed has a lot of references towards Pink Floyd in their music. As well as references to Zepelin and Rush. They appreciate music, and the great music they were brought up on. The lyrics, are by far the most facinating thing about them, because it is all based on a mass story. You try doing that torres...if you succeed, then you have a right to comment on Coheed's music. You fuck.

  • @avenged4life100 Sooo many things are wrong about what you just said there. 3rd greatest in the world? according what standard? They are BETTER musicians than both of those bands, especially with Chris Penne in the band. Easily, hands down, no contest. Robert Plant is annoying sounding, Jimmy Page is decent but not by any means untouchable, Claudio said Rush really isn't a very big influence, and I hear no Pink Floyd in this music. Floyd is more textural, not pure energetic rock music.

  • I just noticed the singer from The Marz Volta and the singer from Coheed and Cambria sound soooo similar. They should do a dide project together

  • im a huge fan but i have two question i would like to see answered.

what does he mean by no one runs faster than you eat?

also "mother may i" - Il leave the light on to turn your mother off?

    thanks

  • 5:18 - 5:48 Speaks volumes to me. Reminds me that I WOULD give up my last night for the love of my life.

  • 4:18 is my favorite part, it's amazing.

  • my copy of that song and yours both have the duration of 7:28 . but i don't know why is the ending of mine kinda different, it's kind of a fade out in the end

  • Seriously this song is so catchy (not that they don't have a ton of these insanely awesome hits...). I hear it when I'm asleep sometimes & its always in one of my favorite epic beautiful dreams.

  • Coheed and Cambria = Perfection
