Ken was with QTQ9 weekend weather then TV0 weekend weather before moving to BTQ7 in 1989.

Wow, Ken Brown with the weather as well - Ken later moved to Brisbane for BTQ Seven's Coastwatch!!! Aussiebeachut, would you have the opener to Bellamy - I note your promo for this Grundy experiment in police drama out of Sydney. Great show - great actors (John Stanton), very gritty....

A very young Ron Wilson. And what a long ending to the news. The music didn't really suit it IMHO. Plenty of plain text supers in the footage (typical for this period), other than the fancy "Star Station" promo.
I certainly recall the Lotto ad with Grant Dodwell, right down to the point where he drops his jaw as he opened the case full of money.

This U-matic tape was unplayable when I first picked it up 12 years ago. The tape oxide was coming off the tape causing it to instantly jam when loaded. It was only this year that a fellow collector heated the tape in a kitchen oven. The final result was impressive.
