  • 1 thing on my mind.. how much did this cost?

  • @Krazyleggz742

Single level about 20,000 = 25,000 Euro. Incrementally more for more levels.

  • Congratulations! Great news. I'm suffering from low back pain and considering disc replacement. I also live in SF.

Who do you recommend that I talk to?

  • I SO wish you get to do sports again, Eliza. I'm so happy for you, I'm f%#$!n crying myself! Haha! :'-D

  • Great video. And a courageous woman. As an engineer what I never understand is why surgeons are using ball-and-socket joints to replace a cushion joint. It makes no sense. Give me a ball and socket joint replacement for my hip.. not my spine.

  • Do you mind my asking did they place the artificial disc anteriorly (through the belly) or posteriorly? It was multilevel so I assumed it was done anteriorly. Happy to hear you've done so well and thank you for being so open and generous with your experiences.

  • Hi Eliza. I hope you are doing really well today. I have the exact same prognosis. I would be so appreciative if you could email me. I am 40 and looking to go to Germany for the multi-level disc replacement and it'll be from L3-S1

  • stenum? whats that? my artificial disc is made by crome ,im felling great now ,but still cautious with my neck,i would say 90%!remember after any kinda surgery ull never be 100% no more, but thats life ,i put my body under too much train so ....but just gotta star slow and get bk with time!just find a good dr! good luck!

  • i got it done in orlando florida with a neurosurgeon called dr.robert masson.
