Great video. And a courageous woman. As an engineer what I never understand is why surgeons are using ball-and-socket joints to replace a cushion joint. It makes no sense. Give me a ball and socket joint replacement for my hip.. not my spine.

Do you mind my asking did they place the artificial disc anteriorly (through the belly) or posteriorly? It was multilevel so I assumed it was done anteriorly. Happy to hear you've done so well and thank you for being so open and generous with your experiences.

stenum? whats that? my artificial disc is made by crome ,im felling great now ,but still cautious with my neck,i would say 90%!remember after any kinda surgery ull never be 100% no more,but thats life ,i put my body under too much train so ....but just gotta star slow and get bk with time!just find a good dr! good luck!

i got it done in orlando florida with a neurosurgeon called dr.robert masson.
1 thing on my mind.. how much did this cost?

Single level about 20,000 = 25,000 Euro. Incrementally more for more levels.
