Excellent very rare 1969 uk CBS 45. The A-side is a great take on the Beatles track 'Hey Jude', and the B-side 'Girl In a Bus Queue' is a superb catchy psych-freakbeat track that not too many know about.
Hi there- where did you get this from? Are you in touch with Robin Barda or John Saunders? My late husband John Toll would have been amazed that this is on youtube!
Oh my! You are magnificent for posting this! I had the Unauthorised Version "Hey Jude" album when it first came out, which was all just as excellent. Sadly, it was lost by accident in a house move while I was away at uni in the early 1980s, to my extreme upset as it was always among my firm favourites. This song has haunted me ever since, and I never ever thought I would hear it again. I had no idea it was released (even as a b side) as a single, how marvellous it has a new audience!
Is this psych rock? Is this jazz? Has the singer beaten Bryan Ferry to rock and roll crooning by 5 years? Amazing Track.
