Trapped in an Elevator for 2.5 hours

We were on our way up to the 20th floor at the Hilton on Michigan Ave. in Chicago, IL when the elevator chugged to a stop. There were 4 of us inside and after stopping we hit the alarm button and the front desk of the hotel called up asking if we were OK. After two hours of attempting to "restart" the elevator the hotel finally decided to call the fire department. Within about 5 minutes of their arrival they pried the doors open and helped us out. Chicago's Bravest!
