Awesome duet of of father (Tony - guitarist) and son (Michel - a prominent pianist who rose to jazz-fame in spite of his disease ). An improvisation over the jazz standard by Kern (music) and Hammerstein (lyrics). I highly recommend the album - "Conversation".
The wonderful lyrics (Charlie Parker's favorites):
You are the promised kiss of springtime,
That makes the lonely winter seem long.
You are the breathless hush of evening,
That trembles on the brink of a lovely song.
You are the angel glow that lights a star,
The dearest things I know are what you are
Some day my happy arms will hold you,
And some day I'll know that moment divine,
When all the things you are, are mine!
How exciting! What a father, what a son! We love them! We feel so lucky - having had the possibility of chatting with Michel twice in Sweden. We didn't know about his father.
