how touching. i love this song so much! it was especially moving when vestal came in. she was so sweet to give away her handkerchief. she and the happy goodmans hold a very special place in my heart. i even have one of her autographed handkerchiefs! i sing all their songs. i have videos of me singing here on youtube as well as on facebook. thanks so much for posting this video!

I have always loved this song, and recently introduced it to my kids...At first they said "that song is too old for us Momma" but now- They LOVE it and it gives them chills especially when Buddy sings "But then my mind, it goes way on back to that stormy night, when in just in time, thank God I saw the light!" I thank God for the LIGHTHOUSE and for the honor of passing on my Christian heritage to my children!

What a blessing from this song. Just t have Vestal and Ivan to join in. But for Vestal to go throw out her handkerchief was truly amazing. How emotional this had to be for the family. I know Kenny wrote many beautiful songs and left his family a treasure. Rest in Peace Kenny Hinson your music will always live on. Amen

You know when a song touches a Pro the way this did those 3, it can't help but to have touched the whole audience. Buddy Mullins had to turn his back to keep from "breaking" & Ivan helped him thru it. Then Mama Vestal tossed he "trademark" to the family. An emotional time & I believe God moved in that auditorium that night.

I just love his voice. Bill Gaither really has had some of the best voices in his group over the years. And Vestal, what a lady, what a smile.
