John talks about, peace, peaceful revolution, the black panthers and the Native American situation. This video is partially a response to those few sick, ignorant individuals who say John Lennon was a racist because of the song, "Woman is the Nigger of the World" See my video response below if intersted.

Our society is run by insane people for insane objectives. I think we're being run by maniacs for maniacal ends and I think I'm liable to be put away as insane for expressing that. That's what's insane about it. -John Lennon

"Laurel and Hardy, that's John and Yoko. And we stand a better chance under that guise because all the serious people like Martin Luther King and Kennedy and Gandhi got shot." -- John Lennon

"I am a firm believer in the people. If given the truth, they can be depended upon to meet any national crisis. The great point is to bring them to the real facts."
- Abraham Lincoln

  • We are not "Indians". That pisses me off.

  • John mentions ping pong in China and this is the same footage used in Forrest Gump, when Forrest returns from ping pong in China. Now it makes even less sense that they didn't use John's real voice for the scene.

  • It might just be me, but why is everybody getting so pissed about John and the interviewer saying "Indians" when that was the accepted term for it then? Did you miss the entire conversation about trying to help native Americans and give them land and rights? Some people will bitch about anything.....jeez

  • You guys cant get offensive because Native American wasnt even an actual term in these days.

  • "Indians" isn't even the correct term! what the hell.

  • Johnny could have had any girl...yet he took Yoko.

  • @Gravitymann Is he wearing a 7th Calvary badge?

  • I like how John talk about Native America Indians and wear a 2nd Infantry (Indian Head) division Patch.

  • Isn't the dude from the audience asking the questions the same dude who turned up in JLs garden during the filming of the Imagine movie?

  • @Legacychildren - I think around the 60's/70's people were starting to get interested in first nations culture. So, people of non-native ancestry still had mis-information. We have so much more knowledge now, thanks to the movements of indigenous peoples who make their voices heard and shared their culture. Still have a ways to go, but, minds are opening...and on a world scale, the struggle for indegenous rights is a struggle for all peoples-we are all people of the earth.

  • @ExtremaDreapta A good inbred is a dead one. There's a tie in your father's wardrobe.
