A-Rod: This would have been a huge story

Date: Saturday, 3-15-08
So, earlier in the week was the big brawl between the Yankees and the Rays, how did it all start? a collision at home plate by a Rays player hitting the backup catcher for the Yankees. Then Shelly Duncan slides in hard to second starting a big fight. Fast Forward to the next meeting between the teams since the Brawl not even a week later. Alex Rodriguez ran through a stop sign and headed towards home plate, everyone was waiting for a possible big collision that never happened. This was probably the best decision by A-Rod, after all, I agree with Girardi, its just spring training. But its a tough situation when you got a young kid trying to make a team, he is the one who went in hard last week for the Rays. Imagine how big this story could have been if A-Rod would of ran into the catcher.

Anyone that calls A-Rod a pussy for what he does in this video is just ignorant. If you look at the stadium they are playing in this is obviously a spring training game. A-Rod is not going to risk injusry to himself or the catcher just to score a run in SPRING TRAINING!
