i was there in 85.... typical officer who doesnt know what he iS talking about,I was in B platoon in the near by accomodation blocks, the RAF and NAVY also had accom . blocks on the camp.. ..oh and also a guard room i knew particulary well. lol

I was a temporary employee in that tower for a few months working in the food store- which was crazy during the catering competition!

@Danny77uk Hahaha, I remember the thrill about 5 years ago when my mum suggested we have a day out...in Aldershot for victoria day...as a treat! You can imagine our enthusiasm

At no point does he say it is an accommodation block! There were accommodation blocks nearby which have also been torn down as part of the redevelopment and there will be new accn blocks where the tower stood.

I was 2/95, and it is a sad thing to see. shame muppet guy doesnt even know what he's talking about! this was not an accommodation block! this made the catering trade what it is today! Excellent!
