Thanks it still has the 351m. The video was taken when it was being prepped to paint. Now its black with the hood and top on.

if anyone is interested the 351m / 400 is part of the cleveland family pick up any engine masters magazine and you will see that a ford 400(m) engine is always in the top ten most powerful engines built in these challenges i believe in the last challenge 7 outta 20 were based on the ford 400(m) it made more power than small and big block ford chevy and dodge engines. just shows with knoweledge anything is possible.

Hey fatboy, you are right about the money to build a FE engine. I have to say that it does not matter what ford engine you build ,it will cost you BIG coin! I have 6 grand in to my 72 cleveland and it is not even assemblied yet. And fuck yes it should go like shit ( or just go with a 460, remember there is no replacement for displacement.

the only problem with the 351m and the 400m is they were not built for horse power, they were torque monsters meant for work trucks, you can get alot of horsepower out of em but your gonna spend a fortune when you can spend half as much on a 351 cleveland or whensor and get twice the power.

I have a 79 f250 and Id take it over any import, but they just dont make em like that anymore, so im forced to drive toyotas. Maybe you can tell your burger eating freinds at the factories to get their heads outa their asses and roll a decent truck off the assembly line.
